“ I've been invited by my friend to have quick meetings at Haraz Coffee House in Sugarland because it's convenient for her. We used to meet at restaurants. But we like it here. There's no hassle and it has quick service. There are plenty of parking in the strip mall. Every time I'm here, I always forgot what I ordered. This time, I'm here just to enjoy my time alone. I don't drink coffee but I enjoy teas. I like how they offer plant-based chai. It's called Adeni Chai. There are almond milk and oat milk options. Mine was oat milk. I enjoyed Knafeh with chai last time. Today, I am trying Bee Bites with chai. According to its website, this Yemeni pastry is "filled with cream cheese, toasted and drizzled with Organic Honey." Yeah. I'm enjoying it in every bite. Here's what I found about the Adeni chai aka Yemeni tea, "often made with black tea and spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves, offers a warm, aromatic, and flavorful beverage with potential health benefits like boosting immunity and aiding digestion." ”

“ I stopped by Haraz around 11am for some tea since I was in the area. I had read a few reviews about it and a couple of articles about this coffee house and really wanted to check it out. Haraz features drinks with Yemen-sourced coffee beans and has a lot of traditional beverage options on their menu. They also have a huge selection of baked goods and pastries. As I was meeting a friend for lunch, I didn't try any of their food options this time, but I'm hoping to the next time I'm in the area. I ordered the Saffron Adeni which was a black tea with cream and saffron. It was served piping hot and had a very nice, strong tea flavor and wasn't too milky. You could also really taste the saffron, and there were a few threads of saffron mixed into the tea itself. The black tea that they use is pretty strong, so be aware of this if you're sensitive to caffeine. The cafe itself is very spacious and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating areas are well lit and seems like a nice place to grab a bite with a friend or just sit and do some work for a little bit. The baristas are really friendly and they'll answer any questions that you might have about the menu. Next time I stop in, I want to try one of their coffee drinks and pastry (probably Mom's kunafa). ”

“ Ordered their pistachio latte and a latte w ice cream instead of milk to the right. The cashier recommended it and didn't ask for the name. Lovey cafe shop that serves you your order with plenty of seating including an outside patio area shared with blk bear diner next door. ”

“ Nice late night coffee hangout. Open to midnight which was great. There was only one decaf option which was good, almost like a ginger tea. The guy at the counter was great as he asked if we were new customers and he explained to us very well the menu. We had the honey bread that had cream cheese sprinkled throughout. Nice touch for a late night decaf and convo with friends. I would recommend. ”

“ Hm. I am loving this place. I've come in the early morning twice, and twice in the mid morning, so far. At some point I accidentally went all out with an order, I guess, because this lovely tray of prettily laid out things came out and was laid on my table. Inside my head, I thought, "I never again need to wait for high tea nor afternoon tea!" It's not the same, but it was beautiful and dainty and tasty! It's a lovely place to do work and study in. The parking is manageable, the exterior is tucked in and has pleasantly shaded outdoor seating, and lovely interior, with big ceilings, but not warehouse sound. The acoustics feel more like the interior of an established city's eatery. It feels quietly, confidently, city upscale. It leans on the edges of pricey. However, the interior amenities of seats, tables, plugs, lighting, and windows make it a fair trade. I love this place. ”

“ The shop is open and inviting with a comfy seating areas with a sofas & chairs and plenty of tables. There is also ample outside seating. Perfect for a nice fall morning. The staff were helpful and friendly, describing the delicious treats to us. Brown sugar shaken espresso- husband & friend said it was a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. No bitter coffee aftertaste. Be sure to stir it up, it comes layered. Baklava cheesecake- the balance of pistachio flavor from chopped pistachios and the lightly sweetened cream cheese under the layers of phyllo dough provides a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The phyllo dough could be a little crispier. White mocha latte- my friend said it has very good flavor not super sweet so the coffee flavor comes through nicely. ”

“ The coffee here is amazing The service is great Ambiance is amazing they have indoor and outdoor seating with a nice patio Indoor art and decor is really great a comfortable place to hang out at! My husband and I tried the latte and cappuccino and they both were great. ”
